Ben De Cubellis promoted to managing director at Kaufman Rossin Alternative Investment Services 

Kaufman Rossin Alternative Investment Services (KRAIS), an independent full-service fund administrator and affiliate of Kaufman Rossin Group, announced the promotion of Ben De Cubellis to managing director. De Cubellis has over 25 years of experience in the alternative investments financial services industry, predominantly within fund administration, investor services and regulatory compliance.

De Cubellis originally joined the firm in 2007, and leads the operations of the investor services department, as well as the FATCA/CRS regulatory reporting and compliance team.

His experience includes private equity funds, mutual funds, hedge fund start-up and conversions, as well as working with information technology to enhance applications and systems to improve efficiency and protection of investor information. He is also a subject matter expert in Global Tax Compliance Regulations such as Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standards (CRS).

De Cubellis also serves as the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Compliance Officer for KRAIS, whose responsibilities include reviewing capital activity, risk assessment, monitoring anti-money laundering procedures/compliance, and coordinating the launch and conversion of funds.

De Cubellis earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in finance from the John Molson School of Business, at Concordia University in Montreal.
